Seat Belt Warning
System OutlineCurrent is always applied from the DOME fuse to TERMINAL 1 of the combination meter. When the ignition SW is turned to ON position, the current from the GAUGE fuse flows to TERMINAL 21 of the combination meter and flows to TERMINAL 1 of the front passenger seat belt warning light.
Seat Belt Warning System
When the ignition SW turned on, a signal is input to the combination meter. To determine whether the driver has fastened the seat belt, a signal is input from the buckle SW LH to TERMINAL 31 of the combination meter. When the seat belt is not fastened, the seat belt warning light in the combination meter blinks, and emits a warning sound.
In addition, the front passenger is recognized by a sensor (Occupant detection sensor) is installed in the front passenger seat, and determines whether the seat belt is fastened. When not fastened, the signals from the occupant detection sensor is input to TERMINAL 37 of the combination meter, and the front passenger seat belt warning light blinks.
