Vacuum Switching Valve

INSPECT VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE ASSY







1. Inspect the resistance.
Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the terminals.

Resistance:....................33 to 39 ohms at 20°C (68°F)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the vacuum switching valve.








2. Check the continuity.
Using an ohmmeter, check that there is no continuity between each terminals and the body.

If there is continuity, replace the vacuum switching valve.








3. Check the operation.
a. heck that air flows from port E to the filter.







b. Apply battery positive voltage across the terminals.
c. Check that air flow from ports E to F.

If the operation is not as specified, replace the vacuum switching valve.
