1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE
3. REMOVE PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY
4. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH
5. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH
HINT: Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
6. REMOVE REAR AXLE SHAFT LH NUT

8. REMOVE REAR BRAKE SUB-ASSY
9. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR LH (W/ ABS)
a. Remove the 2 bolts and nut, disconnect the speed sensor rear LH from the upper control arm assy.
10. DISCONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR RH (W/ ABS)
HINT: Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
11. REMOVE FRONT BRAKE SHOE

12. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT SET LH

14. REMOVE REAR BRAKE SHOE

15. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.3
16. DISCONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.2
HINT: Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
17. DISCONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE: NO.4

18. DISCONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE NO.3

HINT: Disconnect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
19. SEPARATE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH
20. SEPARATE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT: Separate the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
21. SEPARATE UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
a. Remove the bolt and nut, separate the upper control arm assy.
NOTICE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
22. REMOVE REAR AXLE ASSY LH
23. REMOVE REAR AXLE ASSY RH
HINT: Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
24. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH
a. Remove the bolt and nut, disconnect the rear shock absorber with coil spring.
NOTICE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
b. Remove the bolt and nut, disconnect the rear side rear suspension arm assy No.1 LH.
NOTICE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.
c. Remove the front side 3 bolts and rear suspension arm assy No.1 LH.
25. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT: Remove the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
26. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSY
a. Lower the rear suspension member sub-assy with a jack.
b. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts from the rear suspension member sub-assy.
27. REMOVE UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
a. Make matchmarks on the camber adjust cam assy, camber adjust cam No.2 and rear suspension member sub-assy.
b. Remove the nut, camber adjust cam assy and camber adjust cam No.2.
28. INSTALL UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
a. Insert the camber adjust cam assy from the front side of the vehicle, temporarily tighten with nut through the camber adjust cam No.2.
29. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSY
a. Install the rear suspension member sub-assy with 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
Torque: 105 Nm (1,071 kgf-cm, 77 ft. lbs.)
30. TEMPORARY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
a. Install the upper control arm assy, temporarily tighten the bolt and nut.
31. INSTALL REAR AXLE ASSY LH
32. INSTALL REAR AXLE ASSY RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
33. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH
34. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION ARID ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
35. CONNECT REAR BRAKE TUBE NO.4

37. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.3
38. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSY NO.2

39. APPLICATION HIGH TEMPERATURE GREASE
40. INSTALL REAR BRAKE SHOE

41. INSTALL PARKING BRAKE SHOE STRUT SET LH

43. INSTALL FRONT BRAKE SHOE

44. CHECK REAR DRUM BRAKE INSTALLATION
45. CONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR LH (W/ ABS)
a. Connect the speed sensor rear LH with 2 bolts and nut.
Torque:
A: 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 inch lbs.)
B: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.)
46. CONNECT SPEED SENSOR REAR RH (w/ ABS)
HINT: Connect the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
47. INSTALL REAR BRAKE DRUM SUB-ASSY
48. ADJUST REAR DRUM BRAKE SHOE CLEARANCE
49. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT LH NUT
50. INSTALL REAR AXLE SHAFT
HINT: install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
51. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY LH
52. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSY RH
HINT: Install the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
53. TEMPORARY TIGHTEN PROPELLER W/ CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY
54. FULLY TIGHTEN PROPELLER W/CENTER BEARING SHAFT ASSY
55. INSTALL EXHAUST PIPE
56. CHECK EXHAUST GAS LEAK
57. STABILIZE SUSPENSION
58. FULLY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSY
a. Fully tighten the bolt and nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft. lbs.)
NOTICE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and lighten the bolt.
b. Align the matchmarks on the camber adjust cam No.2, fully tighten the nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft. lbs.)
59. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 LH
60. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM ASSY NO.1 RH
HINT: Fully tighten the RH side by the same procedure as the LH side.
61. BLEED BRAKE LINE
62. INSPECT PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL
63. ADJUST PARKING BRAKE LEVER TRAVEL
64. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
65. CHECK ABS SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (W/ ABS)
