DTC B1241 BODY ECU SWITCH CIRCUIT DIAGNOSIS

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION




DTC Detecting Condition:




DTC B1241 indicates when the door control switches on the master switch assembly and passenger's door, and the door lock and unlock switch (door key-linked switch) built into the door lock assembly.
This DTC is output when one of the switches is pressed to the lock/unlock side (switch operation is ON).
When the switch is released, the DTC will disappear.
- If this DTC is output when a switch is not operated, the switch may be stuck ON.
- If the switch's contact is faulty, this DTC is not output when one of the switches is operated.
When a malfunction is detected in these switches, inspect each switch. Then, replace the malfunctioning switch if necessary. If no malfunction is detected in these switches, check the wire harness and body ECU.
