REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Confirm the customer's complaint that the Brake Warning Light stays illuminated after the parking brake pedal is released.
2. Check to see if the parking brake switch is loose and/or the plastic guide pin for the parking brake switch is broken. This can cause the switch to swivel out of position and NO longer make contact with the parking lever to engage the parking brake switch and open the circuit.
3. Replace the parking brake pedal assembly if the condition in step 2 was found.
