INTRODUCTION:
Some customers with 2004 or 2005 model year Prius vehicles may experience a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P0AA6 or P3009 with information codes 526 and 614 (inverter/converter assembly). The inverter/converter assembly has been improved to prevent this condition.

NOTE:
This TSB applies ONLY if information codes 526 and 614 are present.

APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
- 2004 model year Prius vehicles.
- 2005 model year Prius vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
Remove and replace inverter/converter assembly. Refer to ETAS: 2004 or 2005 model year Prius Repair Manual, Hybrid Control System: W/converter Inverter Assy: Replacement.
