TSB REVISION NOTICE:
- June 7, 2007: The note in the Introduction has been expanded to include DTC P0A94, information code 588, and a reference to TSB2655.

INTRODUCTION:
Some customers with 2004 or 2005 model year Prius vehicles may experience a M.I.L. "ON" condition with DTC P0A60, P0A63, P0A72, P0A78, or P0A7A (Drive Motor "A" or Generator Phase W Malfunction). The inverter/converter assembly has been improved to address this condition.

NOTE:
Do NOT apply this TSB if DTC P3009 or P0AA6 is present. For DTC P3009 or P0AA6 refer to TSB2229 "M.I.L. 'ON' DTC P0AA6 OR P3009, Information Codes 526 & 614", or TSB2245 "M.I.L. 'ON' DTC P0A60, P0A63, P0A72, P0A78, or P0A7A".
Do NOT apply this TSB if DTC P0A94 with information code 588 is present. Refer to TSB2655, "Master, Hybrid, & M.I.L. 'ON' DTC P0A94, Information Code 588 & DTC P0A78, Information Code 279 or 306".
