FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSY LOWER NO.1 LH
REPLACEMENT

HINT:
^ Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
^ The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE





2. REMOVE TRANSVERSE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR (A/T TRANSAXLE)
a. Remove the 3 nuts and transverse engine mounting insulator.
3. REMOVE TRANSVERSE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR (M/T TRANSAXLE)
a. Remove the 3 nuts and transverse engine mounting insulator.
b. Remove the 4 bolts and bracket from the manual transmission.





4. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSY LOWER NO.1 LH
a. Remove the 2 bolts on the front side of the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.





b. Remove the bolt and nut on the rear side of the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.
c. Remove the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.
d. Remove the front lower arm bush stopper from the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.
5. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSY LOWER NO.1 LH
a. Install the front lower arm bush stopper to the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.





b. Install the 2 bolts on the front side of the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.
Torque: 200 Nm (2,040 kgf-cm, 148 ft. lbs.)





c. Install the bolt and nut on the rear side of the front suspension arm sub-assy lower No. 1 LH.
Torque: 206 Nm (2,100 kgf-cm, 152 ft. lbs.)





6. INSTALL TRANSVERSE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR (A/T TRANSAXLE)
a. Install the transverse engine mounting insulator with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 87 Nm (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.)
7. INSTALL TRANSVERSE ENGINE MOUNTING INSULATOR (M/T TRANSAXLE)
a. Install the bracket to the manual transmission with the 4 bolts.
Torque: 64 Nm (653 kgf-cm, 47 ft. lbs.)
b. Install the transverse engine mounting insulator with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 87 Nm (887 kgf-cm, 64 ft. lbs.)
8. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
