ROOF HEADLINING

REMOVAL

HINT:
- The installation procedures are the removal procedures in reverse order. However, only installation procedures requiring additional information are included.
- A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart.




1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws labeled A, 2 claws labeled B, 4 claws labeled C and 5 clips, and remove the scuff plate.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 5 clips and scuff plate.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.




3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH
a. Remove the clip labeled A.
b. Disengage the claw and clip labeled B, and remove the side trim.

4. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

5. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
6. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP LH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and weatherstrip.

7. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER END WEATHERSTRIP RH
a. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips and weatherstrip.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

10. REMOVE CUP HOLDER NO.1
11. REMOVE CUP HOLDER NO.2




12. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER LH
a. Using a screwdriver, pry out the bezel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the screw.




c. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and 4 clips, and remove the panel upper.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

13. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.




14. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER LH
a. Remove the screw.
b. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 5 clips and remove the panel.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

15. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

16. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
17. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
18. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
19. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

20. REMOVE LH VISOR ASSEMBLY
a. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 3 claws and remove the cover.
b. Remove the 2 screws and visor.

21. REMOVE RH VISOR ASSEMBLY

HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side.




22. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER
a. Remove the visor holder by turning it counterclockwise.




23. REMOVE MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
a. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the lens.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

b. Remove the 2 screws and map light.

24. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY




a. Using a clip remover, disengage the 2 clips.




b. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the wire harness from the 2 clamps.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

c. Remove the headlining.

25. REMOVE REMOVABLE ROOF WEATHERSTRIP FRONT

11. INSTALL QUARTER TRIM PANEL LOWER RH
