DTC CHECK

1. CHECK OUTPUT OF DTC BY DOOR OPEN INDICATOR

a. Inspect the battery positive voltage.

Standard voltage: 11 to 14 V (when engine is stopped)

b. Check DTC outputs.

1. Check that the door open indicator turns on when one of the doors is opened.

HINT: If the indicator does not turn on, the problem may be among the following: a defective door open indicator LED, a short circuit in the wire harness, a defective courtesy light switch contact or a defective multiplex network body ECU.




2. Using SST (diagnosis check wire No.2), short circuit terminals TC (13) and CG 4. of the DLC3.

NOTE: Do not short-circuit any other terminals.




3. Turn the ignition switch ON and observe how many times the door open indicator flashes.

HINT: When 2 or more codes are output simultaneously, the codes will be displayed in numerical order.
