Seat Temperature Switch: Testing and Inspection

INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for Driver Side)







a. Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch.




b. Push the seat heater switch ON and check that the seat heater switch indicator illuminates when switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.




c. Check that the seat heater switch illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.

INSPECT SEAT HEATER SWITCH (for Passenger Side)







a. Measure the resistance between the terminals when the switch is operated.
If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater switch.




b. Push the seat heater switch ON and check that the seat heater switch indicator illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.




c. Check that the seat heater switch illuminates.
If the result is not as specified, replace the switch or bulb.
