Overhaul

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUBASSEMBLY




a. Remove the 5 screws.




b. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the heater control housing sub-assembly.

2. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Disengage the 4 claws.




b. Disconnect the connector and remove the heater control base sub-assembly.

3. REMOVE HEATER CONTROL KNOB




a. Remove the heater control knob.

4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

NOTE: When disassembling the air conditioning amplifier assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.




a. Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and remove the cover plate.




b. Remove the 2 screws.




c. Remove the air conditioning amplifier assembly as shown in the illustration.

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY

NOTE: When installing the air conditioning amplifier assembly, eliminate static electricity by touching the vehicle body to prevent the components from being damaged.




a. Install the air conditioning amplifier assembly as shown in the illustration.




b. Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration and install the cover plate.




c. Install the air conditioning amplifier assembly with the 2 screws.

2. INSTALL HEATER CONTROL KNOB




a. Install the heater control knob.

3. INSTALL HEATER CONTROL BASE SUB-ASSEMBLY




a. Connect the connector.




b. Engage the 4 claws and install the heater control base sub-assembly.

4. INSTALL HEATER CONTROL HOUSING SUBASSEMBLY




a. Engage the 6 claws.




b. Install the heater control housing sub-assembly with the 5 screws.
