2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY:
REMOVAL
1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER LH
2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER RH
3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (Testing and Inspection)
4. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)
5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH (Removal)
6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH (Removal)
7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH (Removal)
8. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)
9. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK (Removal)
10. REMOVE COWL TOP PANEL OUTER SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 4 bolts, 4 nuts and cowl top panel outer sub-assembly.
11. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL (Removal)
12. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)
13. REMOVE AIR CLEANER INLET ASSEMBLY (Removal)
14. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)
15. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)
16. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET (Removal)
17. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK (Removal)
18. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1 Exhaust Side)
(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.
19. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 1 Intake Side)
(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.
20. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2 Exhaust Side)
(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.
21. REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE (for Bank 2 Intake Side)
(a) Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve connector.
(b) Remove the bolt and camshaft timing oil control valve.
(c) Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control valve.
