DTC 44 - Light Sensor Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a failure in the light sensor circuit is detected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU - AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR)





(a) Disconnect the automatic light control sensor connector and B6 connector of the multiplex network body ECU.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
(a) Reconnect the automatic light control sensor connector and B6 connector of the multiplex network body ECU.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:





NG -- REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
OK -- REPLACE AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR
