INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. CONFIRM MODEL
Result:
B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH)
A -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5 and park/neutral position switch connector A3.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector A3.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector R5 and back-up light switch connector B1.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
6. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH - BATTERY)
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH
