SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat):

COMPONENTS









DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH





(a) Raise the reclining adjuster release handle to reveal a claw. Use a screwdriver to disengage the claw and remove the release handle.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) Remove the 2 rubber bands from the back of the front seatback cover.
(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the 2 power seat switch knobs.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





(c) Remove the 6 screws.
(d) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and remove the cushion shield together with the cushion shield inner No. 1.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(e) Disconnect the connectors of the power seat switch.
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER NO.1 LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claws and remove the cushion shield inner No. 1 from the cushion shield.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the nut and inner belt.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD INNER LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and clip, and remove the cushion shield.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

6. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 3 screws and seat switch.
7. REMOVE POWER SEAT SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 2 screws and seat switch.
8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
(a) w/ Seat heater:
Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Disengage the hook and remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover together with the pad from the seat adjuster.
(c) Remove the hog rings and cushion cover.
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater, and then remove the seat heater from the seat cushion cover.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the seat cushion cover.

10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH
(a) Remove the hog rings. Then open the lower part of the seatback cover.





(b) Remove the 2 headrest supports.





(c) Remove the nut and seatback cover bracket.
(d) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover together with the pad from the seat adjuster.
(e) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover.
11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat heater from the seatback cover.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the seatback cover.

12. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 screws and lumbar support adjuster.
13. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster cover.
14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster cover.
15. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER LH
(a) Remove the screw and vertical adjuster cover.
16. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER BRACKET COVER OUTER
(a) Remove the screw and vertical adjuster cover.
17. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the connectors.
(b) Remove the 2 screws each to remove the sliding motor, reclining motor, front vertical motor and rear vertical motor.
18. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the wire harness connector.
(b) Disengage the claw and remove the seat slide position protector.
(c) Using a torx socket wrench (T30), remove the torx bolt and airbag sensor.
