Illumination Circuit
DESCRIPTION
Power is supplied to the multi-display and navigation controller illumination when the light control switch is in the TAIL or HEAD position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK ILLUMINATION
(a) Check if the illumination for the multi-display, radio receiver, navigation controller and other components (transmission control SW, hazard warning switch, cigarette lighter, etc.) comes on when the light control switch is turned to the HEAD or TAIL position.
Result:
C -- GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM
B -- INSPECT NAVIGATION CONTROLLER
A -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT MULTI-DISPLAY
(a) Disconnect the multi-display connector E25.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY - BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the multi-display connector E25.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTI-DISPLAY
4. INSPECT NAVIGATION CONTROLLER
(a) Disconnect the navigation controller connector E18.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION CONTROLLER - COMBINATION METER)
(a) Disconnect the combination meter connector E2.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION CONTROLLER
