Microphone Circuit between Overhead J/B and Navigation ECU

DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a microphone signal from the overhead J/B to the navigation ECU. It also supplies power from the navigation ECU to the overhead J/B.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION ECU - BODY GROUND)





(a) Disconnect the navigation ECU connector L18.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (OVERHEAD J/B - NAVIGATION ECU)





(a) Disconnect the overhead J/B connector N5 and navigation ECU connector L18.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
