Light Control Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The combination switch ECU receives the informations of the light control switch, and sends them to each ECU via multiplex communication system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Switch / Data List.
(e) Read the display on the Techstream.

OK:
Condition information can be displayed.

NG -- INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
2. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect headlight dimmer switch assembly Testing and Inspection.
OK:
Headlight dimmer switch assembly is normal.

NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
