DTC C1203/95 - ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The circuit is used to send TRAC and VSC information from the skid control ECU to the HV control ECU, and hybrid control system information from the HV control ECU to the skid control ECU through the CAN communication system.

C1203/95:

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE: When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM INITIALIZATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE AND CALIBRATION
(a) Perform initialization of the linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.
HINT: Before carrying out Perform initialization of the linear solenoid valve and calibration, C1203/95 will output.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(c) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(d) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:

3. CHECK PART NUMBER (HV CONTROL ECU)
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Check that a proper HV control ECU is installed.
OK:
Proper HV control ECU is installed.
(c) Check if the HV control ECU had been replaced before the DTC was recorded.
OK:
HV control ECU had not been replaced.

B -- REPLACE HV CONTROL ECU
A -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK PART NUMBER (SKID CONTROL ECU)
(a) Check that a proper skid control ECU is installed.
OK:
Proper skid control ECU is installed.
(b) Check if the skid control ECU had been replaced before the DTC was recorded.
OK:
Skid control ECU had not been replaced.

C -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU

5. RECONFIRM DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Check if the same DTC is recorded Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
