DOOR LOCK: WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL J/B)
(a) Disconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel J/B) connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel J/B) connectors.
(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.

- *1: When operating the motor.
- *2: When operating the answer back function.

2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the E58 ECU connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the E58 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the values(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.
