P311 HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL: FRAME WIRE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE Removal
2. REMOVE FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE REAR SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
4. REMOVE REAR CENTER SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
5. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH Removal
7. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
9. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET Removal
10. REMOVE UPPER BATTERY CARRIER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
11. DISCONNECT HV BATTERY

(a) Remove the battery shield contact.
CAUTION: Wear insulated gloves.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the frame wire (high voltage cable).
CAUTION: Wear insulated gloves.

(d) Remove the nut and disconnect the frame wire (AMD cable).
CAUTION: Wear insulated gloves.

(e) Disconnect the connector (cabin side).
CAUTION: Wear insulated gloves.

12. REMOVE WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET

(a) Remove the nut, clamp and wire harness clamp bracket.
HINT: When removing the clip, break the claw on the clip. This clip cannot be reused.

13. REMOVE FRAME WIRE

(a) Remove the nut and disengage the claws, and disconnect the frame wire (AMD cable).
(b) Disconnect the frame wire (auxiliary battery positive cable).
(c) Disconnect the 3 wire harness clamps.

(d) Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

(e) Remove the 2 nuts, and disconnect the 3 clamps.

(f) Remove the 3 nuts.

(g) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

(h) Remove the bolt, clamp, grommet and pull out the frame wire.
(i) Remove the 3 clips and frame wire.

HINT: When removing the clip, break the claw on the clip. The clips cannot be reused.
