SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSHING (for TMC Made)

(a) Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushings to the outside of the bushing stopper on the front stabilizer bar.
NOTICE: Make sure that the cutout of the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushing faces the rear side as shown in the illustration.

3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
(a) Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH.
4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
(a) Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH.
5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR

(a) Install the front stabilizer bar with the 2 bolts. (LH Side)
Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20ft-lbf)

(b) Install the front stabilizer bar with the 2 bolts. (RH Side)
Torque: 27 Nm (275 kgf-cm, 20ft-lbf)
6. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE
HINT: Refer to the instructions for installation of the engine assembly Installation.

7. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH (for TMC Made)

(a) Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a wrench (19 mm) to hold the stud.

8. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH (for TMC Made)

(a) Install the front stabilizer link assembly RH with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a wrench (19 mm) to hold the stud.

9. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH (for TMMK Made)

(a) Install the front stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon (6 mm) wrench to hold the stud.

10. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH (for TMMK Made)

(a) Install the front stabilizer link assembly RH with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a hexagon (6 mm) wrench to hold the stud.

11. CONNECT TIE ROD END SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
12. CONNECT STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY Installation
13. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT
14. INSTALL FRONT WHEELS
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76ft-lbf)
15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
16. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT Service and Repair
