INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH, PNP SWITCH)
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER - BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH, PNP SWITCH)
(a) Disconnect the navigation receiver assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the back-up light switch*1 or the park/neutral position switch*2.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
for Manual Transaxle
for Automatic Transaxle
HINT:
- *1: for Manual Transaxle
- *2: for Automatic Transaxle
- *3: for 2AZ-FE
- *4: for 2ZR-FE
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH, PNP SWITCH - BATTERY)
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage:
for Manual Transaxle
for Automatic Transaxle
- *1: for Manual Transaxle
- *2: for Automatic Transaxle
- *3: for 2AZ-FE
- *4: for 2ZR-FE
Result:
E -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH (for U341E Automatic Transaxle)
D -- REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH (for U250E Automatic Transaxle)
C -- REPLACE BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH (for E351 Manual Transaxle)
B -- REPLACE BACK-UP LIGHT SWITCH (for C59 Manual Transaxle)
A -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
