SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat): REASSEMBLY

REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT WIRE





(a) Engage the 5 clamps.
(b) Connect the 3 connectors.





(c) Engage the 3 clamps and install the front seat wire.
(d) Connect the connector.
2. INSTALL SEAT POSITION SENSOR
3. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT





(a) Install the 2 nuts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
(b) Install the active headrest lower unit with new clamp.
4. INSTALL ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT





(a) Install the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.
Torque: 14 Nm (143 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf)
(b) Install the nut and connect the cable to the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH





(a) Install the front seat lower cushion shield RH with the screw.
6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) Install the front seat lower cushion shield LH with the screw.
7. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the screw.
8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Engage the guide.
(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover RH with the 2 screws.
(c) Engage the clamp.
9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the screw.
10. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Engage the guide.
(b) Install the reclining adjuster inside cover LH with the 2 screws.
(c) Engage the clamp.
11. INSTALL LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Install the lumbar support adjuster assembly with the 2 screws.
(b) Connect the connector.
12. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seatback cover with 4 new hog rings.
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

13. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD
(a) Temporarily install the front seatback cover with pad to the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.





(b) Engage the 4 claws and install the 2 front seat headrest supports.





(c) Install the front seatback cover bracket with the nut.
Torque: 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf)
- For vehicles with side airbags, the side airbags may not be activated normally unless the front seatback cover is securely installed.
- Check that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
- Install the bracket securely.





(d) Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.





(e) Using hog ring pliers, install 4 new hog rings.
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

14. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER





(a) Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type front seat cushion cover with 10 new hog rings.
- Be careful not to damage the cover.
- When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.

15. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR





(a) Install the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.
16. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD





(a) Engage the hooks.





(b) Engage the clamp.





(c) Engage the 2 hooks.
(d) Install the 2 clips and the front seat cushion cover with pad.
17. INSTALL NO. 2 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER





(a) Install the 2 screws and the No. 2 seat track lower spacer.
18. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD





(a) Insert the guide and temporarily install the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.





(b) Engage the claw and the 2 guides.
(c) Install the front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.
19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Installation
20. INSTALL POWER SEAT SWITCH





(a) Connect the connector.
(b) Install the power seat switch with the 3 screws.
21. INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER





(a) Install the 2 screws and the No. 1 seat track lower spacer.
22. INSTALL LUMBAR SWITCH





(a) Install the lumbar switch with the 2 screws.
23. INSTALL NO. 1 FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD
(a) Engage the 2 claws.





(b) Install the No. 1 front seat cushion inner shield with the screw.
24. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD ASSEMBLY





(a) Connect the connector to the front power seat lumbar switch.
(b) Engage the claw and the guide.
(c) Install the front seat cushion shield assembly with the 5 screws.





(d) Install the 2 hooks.
25. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.
26. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the reclining power seat switch knob.
27. INSTALL SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP





(a) Install the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
