Skid Control Buzzer Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter via CAN communication.
The combination meter has a built-in skid control buzzer. The skid control buzzer sounds during VSC operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Programming and Relearning.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output Diagnosis System.

B -- INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (SKID CONTROL BUZZER)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Select Active Test mode on the Techstream Data List / Active Test.

(d) Check that the buzzer sounds/stops when turning the skid control buzzer on/off using the Techstream.

3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Check the combination meter How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.
OK:
The combination meter is normal.
