PISTON SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH CONNECTING ROD

Step 1





Using SST, install and alternately tighten the bolts of the connecting rod cap in several steps.

Torque 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)

Step 2




Mark the front of the connecting rod cap bolts with paint.
Further tighten the cap bolts an additional 90° as shown in the illustration.

Standard diameter 6.6 to 6.7 mm (0.2598 to 0.2638 in.)
Minimum diameter 6.4 mm (0.2520 in.)
