REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Test drive the vehicle to confirm the customer's complaint.
2. Check for correct tire pressure on all four wheels and adjust per the tire pressure label located on the driver's door.
NOTICE:
Low or high tire pressure will affect on-center feel.
3. Confirm that the vehicle does not have a pulling condition. If a pull is felt to either side, diagnose and repair the condition.
Refer to TSB No. TSB1081, "Repair Manual Supplement: Vehicle Pulling to One Side".
4. If NO pull is detected, proceed with the following:
A. Inspect the front and rear tires for any irregular wear that might indicate an alignment concern. If tires show excessive wear, replace as needed. Tires are warranted by the tire manufacturers. Contact respective tire manufacturer before replacing under warranty.
B. Check the front and rear suspension components for any damage or irregular wear, and repair as necessary.
5. If the above conditions are NOT present, replace the Power Steering Computer Assembly. Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library:
