MIRROR (EXT): OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR HANDLE ASSEMBLY (w/o Power Window) Disassembly
2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL Disassembly
3. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER (w/o Power Window) Disassembly
4. REMOVE FRONT ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER (w/ Power Window) Disassembly
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Disassembly
6. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/o Front No. 2 Speaker) Disassembly
7. REMOVE FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH (w/ Front No. 2 Speaker) Disassembly
8. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY WITH COVER





(a) Disconnect the clamp and connector.
(b) Remove the 3 bolts.
(c) Disengage the claw and remove the outer rear view mirror assembly with cover.
9. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR GLASS (for TMC Made)





(a) Apply protective tape to the bottom of the visor of the door mirror.
(b) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
(c) Using a moulding remover, disengage the 2 claws.





(d) Disengage the 2 guides at the upper part of the outer mirror as shown in the illustration.
(e) w/ Heater:




(1) Disconnect the connectors.
(f) Remove the outer mirror glass.
10. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER (for TMC Made)





(a) Disengage the 7 claws and remove the outer mirror cover from the outer rear view mirror assembly with cover.
11. REMOVE OUTER MIRROR COVER (for TMMC, NUMMI Made)





(a) Put protective tape around the outer mirror cover.





(b) Push the lower part of the mirror surface and tilt it.
(c) Using a screwdriver with the tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws B, from the clearance between the outer mirror glass and visor.
(d) Disengage the claw A.





(e) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the outer mirror cover.
