Removal








HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM Service and Repair
2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal
3. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE UNDER COVER (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal
5. DISCONNECT DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the discharge hose sub-assembly from the condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the discharge hose sub-assembly.
NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

6. DISCONNECT AIR CONDITIONING TUBE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the air conditioning tube assembly from the condenser.
(b) Remove the O-ring from the air conditioning tube assembly.
NOTE: Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

7. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 2ZR-FE) Removal
8. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
9. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY Removal
10. SEPARATE WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for 2ZR-FE) Removal
11. SEPARATE WATER BY-PASS HOSE (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
12. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE) Removal
13. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
14. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2ZR-FE) Removal
15. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
16. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2ZR-FE) Removal
17. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD (for 2AZ-FE) Removal
18. REMOVE CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RECEIVER





(a) Remove the condenser assembly with receiver as shown in the illustration.
