THEFT DETERRENT / KEYLESS ENTRY: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
(a) Disconnect the 2A, 2B, 2E, 2F, 2G and 2J junction block connectors and main body ECU connector.









(b) Measure the resistance and voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





HINT: If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

2. CHECK THEFT WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the E72 theft warning ECU assembly connector.





(b) Measure the voltage and resistance between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.
(c) Reconnect the E72 theft warning ECU assembly connector.
(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the connector.
