2AZ-FE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER (for 4WD): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 FUEL TANK PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 3 bolts, 2 nuts and No. 1 fuel tank protector sub-assembly.
2. REMOVE CHARCOAL CANISTER ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the purge line hose.





(b) Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.
(c) Disconnect the charcoal canister filter sub-assembly from the charcoal canister.
(d) Disconnect the fuel tank vent hose from the charcoal canister.





(e) Remove the 3 bolts and charcoal canister assembly.
