Removal








REAR SUSPENSION: REAR LOWER ARM: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
2. REMOVE REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER BRACE (for LH Side)





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and rear floor member brace.
3. SEPARATE NO. 3 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and separate the No. 3 parking brake cable assembly.
4. SEPARATE REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY Removal
5. LOOSEN REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING





(a) Loosen the bolt.
NOTE: Do not remove the bolt and nut.

6. LOOSEN REAR SUSPENSION ARM BRACKET ASSEMBLY





(a) Loosen the nut.
7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the bolt and nut.
(b) Support the upper control arm assembly securely.





(c) Put matchmarks on the rear No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate, rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly and rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly.
(d) Remove the nut, the rear No. 2 suspension toe adjust plate and rear suspension toe adjust cam sub-assembly.





(e) Remove the bolt and nut, and disconnect the rear shock absorber with coil spring.





(f) Remove the bolt and nut, and separate the rear part of the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly.
NOTE: When removing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and loosen the bolt.





(g) Remove the 3 bolts on the front part, and separate the front part of the rear No. 1 suspension arm assembly.
8. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION ARM BRACKET ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the nut and the rear suspension arm bracket assembly.
9. REMOVE REAR SUSPENSION SUPPORT STOPPER





(a) Remove the rear suspension support stopper.
10. REMOVE LOWER CONTROL ARM BUSHING





(a) Using SST, remove the lower control arm bushing.
