SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/o Seatback Board): DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP





(a) Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
2. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE





(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.
3. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP





(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.
4. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE





(a) Remove the 2 screws and the vertical adjusting handle.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD





(a) Disengage the 2 hooks and separate the seatback cover from the front seat cushion spring.





(b) Remove the screw.
(c) Disengage the claw.
(d) Disengage the clip.
(e) Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield.





(f) Remove the clip.
6. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER





(a) Remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 seat track lower spacer.
7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal
8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the claw.





(c) Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.
9. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD
(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.





(b) Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.
10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR





(a) Remove the 2 front seat cushion edge protectors.
11. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER





(a) Remove the 10 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover.
12. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD





(a) Remove the 4 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 3 hog rings.





(c) Turn back the separate type front seatback cover to remove the nut, and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover.





(d) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
(e) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER





(a) Remove the 4 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.
14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the guide.
(c) Disengage the clamp and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
17. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
18. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTER SPACER





(a) Disengage the claw and remove the vertical adjuster spacer.
19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.
20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH





(a) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.
21. REMOVE SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP





(a) Disengage the clamp and remove the seat track control cable clamp.
22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER





(a) Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat outer track bracket cover as shown in the illustration.
23. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT





(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.
(b) Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.
24. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT





(a) Remove the clamp.
(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.
25. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR Removal
26. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE (for Front Passenger Side)





(a) Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the front seat wire.
