REAR SUSPENSION: REAR UPPER ARM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Insert the camber adjust cam assembly from the front side of the vehicle, and temporarily tighten the nut through the No. 2 camber adjust cam.
2. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER
(a) Install the rear suspension member.
HINT: Refer to the procedure from Install Rear Suspension Member Installation.

3. FULLY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Align the matchmarks on the No. 2 camber adjust cam and the camber adjust cam assembly.
(b) Fully tighten the nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft-lbf)





(c) Fully tighten the bolt and nut.
Torque: 74 Nm (755 kgf-cm, 55 ft-lbf)
NOTE: When installing the bolt, stop the nut from rotating and tighten the bolt.

4. FULLY TIGHTEN UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Perform the same procedure for the LH side.

5. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT Rear Wheel Alignment (for Double Wishbone Type Suspension).
6. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ ABS) Test Mode Procedure.
7. CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL (w/ VSC) Test Mode Procedure.
