SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (w/ Seatback Board): DISASSEMBLY

DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP





(a) Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD RH





(a) Disengage the 2 hooks.





(b) Remove the screw.
(c) Disengage the claw.





(d) Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield RH as shown in the illustration.
4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH





(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH.
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the claw.
(c) Disengage the clip.
(d) Disengage the guide and remove the front seat cushion shield RH.





(e) Remove the clip.
6. REMOVE NO. 1 SEAT TRACK LOWER SPACER RH





(a) Remove the 2 screws and the No. 1 seat track lower spacer RH.
7. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH





(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle LH.
8. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE RH





(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle RH.
9. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and the guide, and remove the front seatback shield LH.
10. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 claws and the guide, and remove the front seatback shield RH.
(c) Disconnect the side airbag wire harness from the front seatback shield RH.
11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the side airbag wire harness.





(b) Remove the 4 bolts and the front seatback assembly RH.
12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK BOARD





(a) Disengage the 2 clips.
(b) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seatback board as shown in the illustration.





(c) Remove the 2 clips.
13. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the front seatback lock sub-assembly LH.
14. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER LH





(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat hinge cover LH.
15. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Remove the 2 bolts and the front seatback lock sub-assembly RH.
16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HINGE COVER RH





(a) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat hinge cover RH.
17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK LOCK HANDLE ROD





(a) Remove the front seatback lock handle rod.
18. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD RH





(a) Remove the nut and separate the bracket of the separate type front seatback cover RH.





(b) Disengage the hook.





(c) Remove the 10 hog rings.





(d) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.
(e) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad RH from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.
19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER RH





(a) Remove the 4 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover RH.
20. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT RH





(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit RH as shown in the illustration.
(b) Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.
21. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT RH





(a) Remove the clamp.
(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit RH.
22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR





(a) Remove the front seat cushion edge protector.
23. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD RH





(a) Disengage the hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad RH.
24. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER RH





(a) Remove the 12 hog rings and the separate type front seat cushion cover RH.
25. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
26. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.
27. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
28. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw and the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.
29. REMOVE SEAT POSITION SENSOR RH
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and the LH side Removal.

30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE





(a) Disengage the 8 clamps and remove the front seat wire.
31. REMOVE SEAT TRACK CONTROL CABLE CLAMP RH





(a) Disengage the clamp and remove the seat track control cable clamp RH.
32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH





(a) Disengage the claw as shown in the illustration.





(b) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat outer track bracket cover RH as shown in the illustration.
