DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU performs the fail-safe control, when the ECM detects an error which will affect THS control.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: If any of the DTCs above is stored, it is necessary to clear the DTCs before turning the power switch on (READY).

PROCEDURE

1. READ OUTPUT DTC (ENGINE)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Check if DTCs are output.
Result:
DTCs are output
NG -- GO TO RELEVANT DTC CHART
OK -- REPLACE ECM
