DTC P0A1D-390 - Hybrid Powertrain Control Module

DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU performs self-checks to detect an internal operating malfunction in the battery ECU.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ OUTPUT DTC (HV ECU)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch ON (IG).
(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Check if DTCs are output.
Result:
DTC P0A1D (INF 390) and other DTCs are output
HINT: If any other codes besides P0A1D (INF 390) are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

YES -- GO TO RELEVANT DTC CHART
NO -- Continue to next step.

2. READ OUTPUT DTC (BATTERY ECU)
(a) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / HV Battery / DTC.
(b) Read DTCs.
Result:
DTCs are output
YES -- GO TO RELEVANT DTC CHART
NO -- REPLACE HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
