INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTE: When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration Initialization.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DLC3 (TS VOLTAGE)

(a) Turn the power switch ON (READY).
(b) Measure the voltage of the DLC3.
Standard voltage:

NG -- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3)

(a) Disconnect the S8 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)

(a) Measure the resistance of the DLC3 connector.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - DLC3)

(a) Disconnect the S8 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
