BRAKE: BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the windshield wiper motor and link Removal.
HINT: Refer to the procedures from the removal of the front wiper arm LH/RH up until the removal of the windshield wiper motor and link assembly.

2. SET BRAKE CONTROL OFF Removal
3. REMOVE OUTER FRONT COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
4. DRAIN BRAKE FLUID
NOTE: Wash brake fluid off immediately if it adheres to any painted surface.

5. REMOVE BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY





(a) Using SST, disconnect the 2 brake tubes from the brake simulator cylinder.
SST: 09023-00101
(b) Disconnect the connector.





(c) Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and brake stroke simulator cylinder with bracket.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts, connector clamp and bracket from the brake stroke simulator cylinder.
(e) Remove the 2 stud bolts from the brake stroke simulator cylinder.
