BRAKE CONTROL: STEERING ANGLE SENSOR: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STEERING ANGLE SENSOR





(a) Align the locating pins, attach the 6 claws and install the sensor to the spiral cable.
2. INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Testing and Inspection
3. INSTALL SPIRAL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
4. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER Installation
5. POSITION SPIRAL CABLE Installation
6. INSTALL TILT LEVER BRACKET Installation
7. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY Installation
8. INSTALL STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSPECT STEERING PAD ASSEMBLY
(a) Inspect the steering pad Steering Pad.
10. INSPECT STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal with the front wheels facing straight ahead.
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

12. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Check Mode Procedure.
