Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit
DESCRIPTION
When the tire pressure decreases, the ECU sends the communication signal to the combination meter assembly through the BEAN, and it illuminates the tire pressure warning light on the combination meter assembly.
The tire pressure warning light also turns on when the signal for the tire pressure warning light is cut off.
HINT: Refer to the "TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT CHART" section of the "DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM" for checking the condition of the tire pressure warning light Diagnosis System.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
- When replacing the tire pressure warning ECU, read the IDs stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and write them down before removal.
- It is necessary to perform initialization Initialization after registration Registration of the transmitter IDs into the tire pressure warning ECU, after the ECU has been replaced.
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DTC (MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)
(a) Check if DTC B1247 is output in the multiplex communication system Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
Result:
B -- GO TO MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK OPERATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT (ACTIVE TEST)
(a) Turn the power switch off.
(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(c) Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Body / Combination Meter / Active Test.
(e) Check the condition of the tire pressure warning light by operating Techstream.
Combination Meter
OK:
The warning light turns on when operating Techstream.
NG -- GO TO METER / GAUGE SYSTEM
OK -- REPLACE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING ECU
