INSPECTION

1. INSPECT PURGE VSV





(a) Inspect the resistance.
(1) Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard resistance:





- If the resistance is not as specified, replace the purge VSV.

(b) Check the ventilation.




(1) Check that there is no ventilation from port F when air is applied to port E.
If there is ventilation, replace the purge VSV.




(2) Apply battery voltage across the terminals.
(3) Check that there is ventilation from port F when air is applied to port E.
If there is no ventilation, replace the purge VSV.
