WIPER AND WASHER: WASHER NOZZLE: ADJUSTMENT

ADJUSTMENT

1. INSPECT WASHER NOZZLE
(a) With the engine running, check the front washer fluid distribution pattern.









OK:
Washer fluid is distributed as shown in the illustration.
(b) With the engine running, check the rear washer fluid distribution pattern.









OK:
Washer fluid is distributed as shown in the illustration.
2. ADJUST WASHER NOZZLE
(a) Using a TOYOTA 4 Way Nozzle Adjustment Tool, insert the bumpy part of the adjustment tool into the bumpy part of the nozzle jet and make the adjustment.
NOTICE:
- Clarify if the 4 mm or 5 mm diameter washer nozzle is being adjusted.
- Do not use a tool such as metal pin as it may damage the nozzle jet.
