Applicability

Introduction

Some 2009 model year Venza vehicles may exhibit a 2 - 3 mm (0.08- 0.12 in.) gap between the upper and lower console on the RH side as shown in the illustration. Perform the following procedure to improve this condition.

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.





Warranty Information

APPLICABLE WARRANTY

^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 36 months or 36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.

^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Repair Procedure

1. Verify the gap condition.





2. Remove the No. 2 console box carpet.





3. Loosen the console box assembly bolts.





4. Push the center console forward to close the gap.





5. Tighten the console box assembly bolts.





6. Install the No.2 console box carpet.
