Applicability
Introduction
Some 2009 model year Venza and 2010 model year Camry vehicles may display a transaxle fluid leak from a missing transaxle case plug on the upper right hand side of the transaxle case. Production improvements have been implemented to prevent this from occurring. Follow the repair procedure below to install the missing transaxle case plug.

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VINs shown.
Warranty Information
APPLICABLE WARRANTY
^ This repair is covered under the Toyota Powertrain Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle's in-service date.
^ Warranty application is limited to occurrence of the specified condition described in this bulletin.

Repair Procedure
1. Inspect the transaxle to determine if the transaxle case plug is installed.
Is the plug missing?
^ YES - Proceed to step 2.
^ NO - This TSB does NOT apply. Proceed with diagnosis of the ATF leak.
2. Install the missing transaxle case plug.
3. Adjust the ATF level.

4. Test drive the vehicle to confirm the repair.
