2GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE (for Engine Mounting): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
2. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

4. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
7. REMOVE BATTERY Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Removal
9. REMOVE DUTY VACUUM SWITCHING VALVE





(a) Disconnect the duty vacuum switching valve connector and the clamp.





(b) Disconnect the 3 vacuum hoses from the duty vacuum switching valve.





(c) Remove the bolt and disconnect the hose from the duty vacuum switching valve to remove it.
