Applicability

Introduction

Some vehicles may exhibit a condition where the seat heater is inoperative. Replace the seat heater assembly to address this condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Verify that the seat heater is inoperative.

NOTE
The seat heater assembly comes with the controller. There is no need to order these components separately.

2. Remove the seat heater assembly.

Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

^ 2009 / 2010 / 2011 / 2012 / 2013 Venza:

3. Install the new seat heater assembly.

NOTE
When installing the seat heater harness follow the wire routing shown below.

4. Verify proper seat heater operation.
