EXTERIOR: REAR BUMPER (for Sedan): INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Install the rear bumper arm with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL REAR BUMPER ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

3. INSTALL REAR BUMPER REINFORCEMENT





(a) Install the rear bumper reinforcement with the 4 nuts.
Torque: 19 Nm (195 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf)





4. INSTALL REAR BUMPER CENTER SHIELD BRACKET
HINT: Use the same procedure to install all the rear bumper center shield brackets.

(a) Engage the 4 claws and install the rear bumper center shield bracket.
5. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT LH





(a) Engage the 2 claws and install the rear bumper side support.
(b) Tighten the screw.
6. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SUPPORT RH
HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

7. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH





(a) Engage the 3 claws and install the rear bumper side retainer.
(b) Tighten the screw.
(c) Install the clip.
8. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

9. INSTALL REAR BUMPER COVER





(a) Engage the 18 claws and install the rear bumper cover.





(b) Tighten the 2 bolts and the 2 screws.
(c) Install the 2 clips.





(d) Remove the protective tape.
10. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH





(a) Install the rear bumper side seal with the 3 clips.
11. INSTALL REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL RH
HINT: Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
