METER: METER / GAUGE SYSTEM (for Hatchback): DTC CHECK / CLEAR

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. DTC CHECK
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Turn the tester ON.
(d) Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check the DTC(s) and freeze frame data, and then write them down.
(f) Meter / Gauge System (for Hatchback) to check the details of the DTC(s).
2. CLEAR DTC (Using a Techstream)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Turn the tester ON.
(d) Enter the following menu items: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes.
(e) Press the YES button to clear the DTC(s).
3. CLEAR THE DTC (Without using a Techstream)
(a) Perform either one of the following operations.
(1) Disconnect the negative battery cable for more than 1 minute.
(2) Remove the ECU-B fuse from the engine room relay block located inside the engine compartment for more than 1 minute.
